Business Model for School Rooftop Solar Power Acceleration in West Java
The acceleration of implementing rooftop solar power systems (PLTS) in schools across West Java can be propelled for decades to come, beginning with support from the public sector funding (APBN/APBD). This progress can be further expedited through contributions from the private sector financing, as well as non-profit organizations and other development partners. The challenges of implementation—such as coordinating funding and business efforts, managing technical systems, and coordinating personnel—emerge as three key aspects in developing managing entities (in this study can be referred to as entities similar to UPT).
To address these challenges, several proposals for the structure and operational patterns of a 'platform manager' are presented. Additionally, this includes examples of activity descriptions and work documents that can serve as valuable initial references.
