PAGE Indonesia Sustainability and Outcome Report (Available in English Only)
The PAGE Indonesia Sustainability and Outcome Report showcases Indonesia's progress in advancing a greener, more inclusive economy by integrating Inclusive Green Economy (IGE) principles into national and subnational policies. With support from PAGE and collaborations with Bappenas and key stakeholders, significant milestones have been achieved, including embedding green economy goals in the RPJMN 2020–2024, launching the Indonesia Green Economy Index, and introducing the Circular Economy Roadmap and Action Plan 2025–2045. These initiatives aim to transform Indonesia’s development trajectory towards sustainability, fostering economic resilience, environmental stewardship, and social inclusivity.
The report highlights the need for sustained efforts, such as operationalizing policy frameworks, strengthening the LCDI Secretariat as a national coordination mechanism, and scaling capacity-building initiatives like the Green Academy Indonesia. It also recommends expanding stakeholder engagement, enhancing funding mechanisms, and replicating successful regional models, such as the Bali Food Loss and Waste strategy. These actions aim to ensure a long-term commitment to a green economic transformation.
