Two upcoming South-South dialogues to accelerate green, circular & just transitions!
Across the Global South, countries are increasingly innovating, experimenting and learning from each other as they build greener, more circular and more inclusive economies. To contribute to this momentum, PAGE Indonesia is hosting two virtual dialogues that will bring together policymakers, practitioners and experts from Indonesia, China, Cambodia and South Africa to exchange best practices, spark new ideas and explore opportunities to accelerate and scale action in their countries and beyond.

Closing Loops, Opening Opportunities: South-South Innovation in Green Finance & Circularity Solutions
Led by UNEP, this first dialogue explores how countries across the Global South are mobilizing green finance and advancing circular economy solutions to support more inclusive and sustainable development. Speakers from Indonesia and China will share practical experiences on integrating circularity into national planning, creating enabling conditions for sustainable finance, and fostering cross-country collaboration to expand and strengthen innovative approaches.

Building Institutions and People for Green, Circular & Just Economies
The second session turns the focus to the human side of the transition, including the institutions, people and skills needed to drive it. Speakers from Indonesia, Cambodia and South Africa will showcase how academic and training institutions are shaping the next generation of green economy leaders – while informing and strengthening green economy policymaking processes in their countries.
Together, these dialogues will highlight PAGE Indonesia’s journey and expand the space for peer learning, policy innovation and South-South collaboration.
