Lombok, Indonesia - Lombok, a beautiful island known for its pristine beaches and vibrant culture, is also emerging as a hub for sustainable development initiatives. As part of the Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE) Indonesia’s programme to document the existing community-based practices on green and circular economy, PAGE project personnel recently visited two sites: BSF Sengkol and Bank Sampah Kekait Berseri. These visits highlighted how communities are adopting innovative solutions to address local waste issues, including plastics and food/organic waste.
