Enabling Policy Environment to Encourage Private Sector Investment for Circular Economy Practices in Indonesia’s Agriculture-Based Food and Beverage Sector

Various manufacturing industries, notably the food and beverage industry, have adopted the circular economy principles in their own supply chains. In order to promote the implementation of a circular economy, governments in a number of countries have enacted legislation that includes incentives and disincentives for people and enterprises.

Circular economy practices aim to minimize waste and maximize the reuse of resources, which is highly relevant in this sector that often generates large amounts of organic waste.
